Winning Streak Snapped in Terriers Loss to RIC, 6-3

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Thomas College men's tennis team snapped a three-game winning streak in a 6-3 loss to Rhode Island College on Saturday at the RIC Tennis Center.

The Anchorman remain undefeated at 3-0 while the Terriers move down to .500 at 3-3.

The Terriers earned one victory in doubles action on the No. 1 line with Ryan Chasse (Fort Kent, Maine) and Zachary Disch (Waterville, Maine) winning 8-5.

Thomas took two wins in singles play with Chasse in number ones at 6-0, 6-3 and Jared Waterhouse (Dayton, Maine) in fours at 6-4, 2-6, 6-3.  Ross Munn (Brunswick, Maine) and Disch each lost in the third set of the No. 2 flight and threes.

Thomas will host the University of Maine at Fort Kent on Thursday, March 29 at 4:00 p.m.
